June Event: Lemonade Stands for Henry's Haul
Our goal is to have at LEAST 30 KindCraft lemonade stands during the month of June at the location of your choice! You can do this as a family OR with your team, church friends, neighbors, etc. Proceeds will benefit a nonprofit that does awesome work right here in our community-Henry's Haul!

About The Event
Henry's Haul is a local nonprofit that collects, new single-pack toy cars (any brand) and donates them to Children's Mercy Hospital. These toy cars are distributed through the Child Life Program at CMH and delivered to all of the hospitals and clinics associated with CMH. Both boys AND girls receive toy cars that help provide a small distraction whether they are inpatient, outpatient, or receiving treatment.
Who is "Henry" from Henry's Haul?
Henry was a sweetheart with a contagious smile, born in November of 2011, who loved to play on his swing set and enjoyed his grandparents' farm. Henry also had Leukemia and in February 2014 he gained his angel wings.
"Henry's Haul" was started in August 2013 during one of Henry's stays at CMH. You see, kids still want to be kids even when they're sick. Most kids can play, even if they're confined to their room or even in bed. A simple car can add that smile to their face and perhaps, even for a minute, make their stay a tad better.
How can you help?
You and your family and/or friends can have a lemonade stand! The money you raise at your stand can then be used to purchase cars for Henry's Haul! So all you have to do is have a lemonade stand which is so fun to do in the summer anyway! You can wear your KindCraft shirts and make posters about Henry's Haul. You have lots of time to prepare so start spreading the word! What is your goal? EVERY amount matters! From 5 cars to 100 cars-every little bit counts :). Grab yourself a pack of Kindness cards and encourage people to do random acts of kindness as well!
Please register your lemonade stand. What If you are not local and would like to participate? No problem, you can still have your lemonade stand. Just donate your proceeds to KindCraft with a note that says for Henry's Haul, and we will purchase cars for you to give to Henry's Haul!
When can I host a Lemonade Stand?
You can host a lemonade stand anytime! Collection day will be Sunday, June 23, 2024 so be sure to schedule your stand in early to mid June so you have time to shop for your cars AND drop them off. Our goal is to have at LEAST 30 KindCraft lemonade stands this year!
Where can you drop off matchbox cars?
Cars can be dropped off on Sunday, June 23, 2024 at 16072 S. Elmridge St. Olathe, KS 66062.
